PUBG continues its “FIX PUBG” campaign announced earlier this month with the introduction of a Training Mode.
A feature that’s been requested by the community for some time now, PUBG’s Training Mode will let 5 to 20 players explore a new map exclusive to the mode practicing everything from the shooting itself to driving, parachute landings, peek spots and more. A more comprehensive list of what exactly you can train can be found here.
Dave Curd, one of the minds behind the mode, says they wanted to make a mode for every type of player; the New player can get a taste of what to expect out of the game, the Casual player can just mess around with friends doing stunt jumps with cars, and the Veteran player can train shooting, peeking, looting and everything else that will make them get even more Chicken Dinners.
The Map is divided in shooting areas, stunt car jump areas, driving areas, vaulting areas, etc so the player can choose where to land and work on the side of their game that’s lacking.
Right now, the Mode is expected in September but that’s not set in stone as it’s still in development.
