FIFA 19 New Features Revealed!

The largest Football game series gets even bigger in FIFA 19! It's about that time again with many major football leagues starting off their seasons and EA took this time to reveal a little more about this year's edition of FIFA. Let's start off with a feature that had already been revealed a couple of weeks ago:

Dynamic Tactics FIFA has always been the perfect pick up 'n play game for football fans, however that has not always been a good thing as many hardcore players complained about how little freedom they had when it came to the Tactical department and it seems EA listened with the introduction of Dynamic Tactics. According to EA, "FIFA 19 provides deeper, more advanced control over your team’s tactics both before and during matches." this new feature allows you to setup various preset gameplans that allow you to change how your team is playing in the click of a button on the D-Pad. It also introduces new sliders so you can tell exactly how much you want your backline to pushup or how much pressure you want your midfield to put on the opposition. You also have new tactical options such as “Pressure on Heavy Touch" which will have your players constantly pressure their opponents in order to cause a mistake. Perfect to break down a more defensive team. Division Rivals If you're a serious FIFA player, then Ultimate Team will be no stranger to you and EA will continue to introduce new game-modes for it with this year's introduction of Division Rivals. Think of this as Ranked Mode in Rocket League or CS:GO. You'll play a few placement matches at first, be assigned a Skill Rating based on how well you do and then every match during the week will determine if you move up or down (or stay in the same division) on the following week. To further encourage you, FIFA will give you rewards at the end of each week depending on well you do. This mode will also give you points each week which you can then redeem for entry into FIFA's Weekend League.

New Kick-Off If Ultimate Team is not your thing and you prefer to face your friends in 1V1 FIFA action then you'll be glad to know that you'll get more freedom than ever with the new Kick-Off modes.

FIFA 19 introduces new games modes for you to challenge your peers in such as; ⦁ Survival Mode - Score a goal and see one of your players removed from the match (don't worry, the goalkeeper doesn't count). ⦁ No Rules - Anything goes... Seriously, anything. ⦁ Long Range - You can try and score a boring tap-in goal but goals from outside the box count double in this new game-mode. ⦁ First to. . . - Set a goal and be the first to achieve it to win in this game-mode whether it is; first to score a goal, first to score five, etc. ⦁ Best Of Series - Three or Five match series to determine who really is the best FIFA player.

And more, you can check out all the game modes on EA's official website here. Stat Tracking is also new and it will allow you to check every stat you can think of for every match played in Kick-Off. Other features revealed today (August 4th) include new Icons such as Eusébio, Gerrard, Lampard, Cruyff and more. Player Picks which will allow you to pick a player for your Ultimate Team from a selection of five.

FIFA 19 is building up to be the ultimate simulation experience for Football fans and we can't wait to see what else EA has in store! FIFA 19 comes out on September 28th 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows (through Origin) and Nintendo Switch.
