Conan Exiles leaves Steam Early Access

Funcom's open world survival title Conan Exiles has finally crawled out of Steam Early Access after two long years riddled with ups and downs. Over one million copies have sold so to date and there are over 33,000 active players compared with a peak of just 3,700 players in March of this year. However, as we typically see, when a game leaves early access the retail price rockets. The early access price of £22 has now shot up to £34 for the standard edition and a whopping £55 for the Barbarian edition.

With these top-end prices, the sale rate of Conan Exiles is expected to plummet when they release hype dies down. However, the developers over at Funcom are posting almost daily information regarding future plans and updates which is sure to build a strong bond between the players and developer. With a strong bond comes a solid fan base which will no doubt keep the game alive within the over saturated open world survival genre for years to come.

Conan Exiles is now available on PC, Xbox One & PlayStation 4
