Looks like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 won't be the only Call of Duty coming out this year as Activision announces a mobile version of their major shooter series... but it's China exclusive.
Activision is partnering with Tencent, the company behind PUBG Mobile and owner of a 'little' company called Riot Games, and developer Timi Studio to bring a "new original experience" for mobile players.
Call of Duty executive Rob Kostich states the game will include characters, maps, modes, and weapons familiar to Call of Duty fans and since it's a mobile game, he confirmed it will be Free-to-Play.
This is not the first time Call of Duty made its way to mobile as in 2015, Call of Duty: Heroes, a
Free-To-Play strategy game was released, nor is it the only mobile game in the works as a few months ago job listings revealed that Candy Crush developers King (yes, really.) were also working on a game for the series.
No release date was given for the game, but you can get your Call of Duty fix later this year in October, or if you pre-ordered then you get to try out the beta for PS4 starting out this week.
