Hello,

 

I'm Shift / Shifty, a news writer here on Vivify for all things gaming, anime and manga related. That's usually what you'll see from me but a cheeky review might also come your way once in a while. I'm quite strict when it comes to ratings so if I ever give a game or anime more than an 8/10, then it's because I feel it's really, really, really  good. I also don't usually go for the more modern games right away, so you might see a review of a game that came out years ago but I might have played/re-played recently.

 

I've been gaming since I can remember starting with Super Mario World on the SNES which as you might have guessed became one of my favourite games of all-time. Pokémon Blue stared the RPG love I still have today and Pokémon Gold just cemented it as my favourite genre while Resident Evil 1 did the opposite when it came to horror games as I remember playing with my dad and my uncle and getting so scared that I fell from my bed and hit my head... Fun stuff.

 

Other interests include just writing whatever comes to mind be it lyrics, short stories or just random fluff; music which I can't go a day without and while I'll give every genre a try, I mostly go with Rock and Heavy Metal (more specifically Power Metal); football, playing guitar and I'll watch that Wrestling thing once in a blue moon.
